A 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit the coast of Indonesia's West Sumatra province on Tuesday, Indonesia's meteorological, climatology and geophysical agency said in a tweet

According to Reuters, the agency stated that no tsunami warning was issued for the earthquake, which occurred more than 100 kilometres (62.14 miles) from land and at a depth of 10 km.

No reports have been updated on casualties or damages yet.
