Actor Mahesh Manjrekar Offers Prayers at Kamakhya Temple on Vijaya Dashami

On the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Bollywood actor Mahesh Manjrekar visited Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati on Tuesday to offer prayers to the Goddess.

Mahesh, who is on a two-day visit to the city, performed a special puja at the Kamakhya Temple today.

The actor said, “Will come back again to Assam for 10 days to look for locations in different parts of the state for a movie.”

He further said that this was his second visit to Maa Kamakhya Temple.

Born on May 13, 1953, Mahesh Manjrekar is an Indian actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer who works primarily in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, and Bhojpuri films.

Some of his most remembered performances are in the film Slumdog Millionaire (2008) in which he plays the role of Don Javed and Wanted (2008), as Senior Inspector Daulat R. Talpade among others.
