Assam: Three Poachers Apprehended in Lumding; 5 Dead Birds Recovered

The Assam Police on Friday apprehended three poachers and seized five dead birds from their possession in Lumding in Hojai district, sources said.

As per reports, the three poachers have been identified as Sagar, Aman, and Rahul, all three hailing from the RPSF colony of Lumding.

Reportedly, five dead birds and a pistol were seized from the trio's possession.

The three accused have been handed over to the officials of the Lumding Forest Department for further investigation into the case.
