CM condoles death of Sunil Kalita

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday condoled the death of CRPF jawan Sunil Kalita, who succumbed to his injuries sustained during an IED blast by Maoists in Saraikela district, Jharkhand on May 28.

It may be mentioned here that Sunil Kalita was under treatment at Trauma Centre AllMS, New Delhi since June 4 and breathed his last on Thursday night at 7:40 pm.

"The entire nation is proud of the supreme sacrifice and unparallel valour of Sunil Kalita," the CM said in a statement on Friday. The CM also prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his empathy to the bereaved family members.
