A tree has been uprooted in the wee hours of Tuesday from the campus of Handique Girls' College, right in front of India Club. It caused snapping of electronic cables, uprooting trees and minor traffic snarl.

It may be mentioned that Guwahati witnessed heavy rainfall on Monday resulting in waterlogging in many areas of City yesterday. Sporadic rains are disrupting the daily lives of city people and most importantly the daily commuters.
