A 23-year-old youth died under mysterious circumstances on Monday midnight in Titabor.

Jayanta Bora son of a former army officer Hem Bora, was taken away by Army personnel who came from Charaideo declared he died under mysterious circumstances today morning. Bora's family informed that the Army personnel along with Titabor and Borhula Police came to their home at 2 am and searched their home. The personnel could not find what they were looking for. Furthermore, they made Bora sign three documents and took him along with them. The family wasn't notified where he was being taken.

In the morning, they were informed he was found dead at the Borhula Hospital and the deceased's body is currently in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. This news has sparked suspicious reactions among the residents of Balijan. The family alleges that Bora may have died due to torture by the Army.
