Nigerian Man, Naga Woman Arrested In Meghalaya Cyber Fraud Case

A Nigerian man and Naga woman was arrested by Meghalaya police from Delhi for their alleged involvement in cyber-fraud.

The duo was apprehended from Tilak Nagar in the national capital on Sunday.

As per reports, they were arrested in connection with a 2 lakh cyber-fraud case lodged at Williamnagar police station in East Garo Hills district.

The Nigerian man was identified as Felix

A total of 12 mobile phones and 23 sim cards were recovered from their possession. It is suspected that the duo may be involved in many other cases in other states and districts, police said.

They will be brought to Williamnagar police station in Meghalaya for further legal proceedings.
