Pune Man’s Photo Wearing Gold Mask Goes Viral in Social Media

The use of face-masks has become so popular that people are now using masks of various types but did anyone see wearing a mask made of gold. Yes, a man in Pimpri-Chinchwad in Pune district has got a mask made of gold for himself. The man wore a mask of Gold worth Rs. 2.89 lakhs.

Shankar Kurade, a resident of Pimpri-Chinchwad has got a mask made of gold for himself. The mask has been made very thinly with tiny holes so that it doesn't get difficulty in breathing. "I am not sure whether the mask will be effective or not," he said while quoted by news agency ANI.

Photos of Shankar wearing the gold face mask have gone viral on social media. While many netizens joked that money can't buy common sense, others wondered why he spent so much money if wasn't sure of the mask's effectiveness.

Many said that he could have used the money to buy reusable cotton masks for needy people.

However, Shankar is not the first one to get a mask made from precious metals. A Karnataka-based jeweller has added silver lining masks to his wedding collection.
