The United States of America (USA) women's football team recorded the biggest-ever victory in FIFA Women's World Cup on Tuesday when they crushed Thailand, 13-0 in a Group-F match at Reims in France.

Alex Morgan scored five times for the defending champions.

Two goals were netted by Rose Lavelle and Samantha Mewis. One goal each was scored by Lindsey Horan, Megan Rapinoe, Mallory Pugh and Carli Lloyd.

With this victory, the USA broke Germany women's football team record of an 11-0 win over Argentina, which the Germans made in the 2007 edition of the

It may be mentioned here that the USA has lost just one international game since July 2017 and has now won seven games in a row.

The team has scored 36 goals in the process and have not conceded in five matches.
