Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court on Thursday in a road rage case dating back to 1998.

Earlier, the former Punjab Congress president was let off with a fine of Rs 1000 by the apex court.

The punishment was enhanced by the Supreme Court during a hearing today.
