Assam: Man Dies on Spot in Horrific Collision Involving Bike and E-Rickshaw

A tragic road accident at Kamar Gaon under Palashbari Police Station claimed the life of a local resident on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Subhash Das, aged 56, a resident of Soru Parakuchi.

The accident reportedly involved a Bajaj NS 200 motorcycle bearing registration number AS01DJ1579, another two-wheeler (AS25W4973), and an e-rickshaw. The collision was intense, resulting in the instant death of Subhash Das.

According to a local eyewitness, the victim was riding his motorcycle between two vehicles approaching from the opposite direction. As he tried to navigate through the narrow space, the handlebar of his bike reportedly struck one of the vehicles. This caused him to lose control and fall violently onto the road. The impact was so severe that he sustained a catastrophic head injury, his skull was crushed, and his brain was dislodged, leading to his death on the spot.

Palashbari Police promptly reached the scene and have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
